After decades of wondering about my paternal grandfather, I am amazed at the speed in which Ely completed an initial search based only on my father’s name. Literally within hours I was provided with a fascinating family tree dating back to the 1600’s. Some names brought back long-lost memories of faces from my early childhood! To my surprise, my brother and sister were just as excited to learn about our lineage. We now want to delve further to uncover stories of relatives that would help us to appreciate our Scottish heritage that we never knew existed.
